Right to choose

Sometimes we push away people we love the most. It isn't because we like being away from them, but the fact that we believe that they are better off without us makes us repel them.It seems the best way to keep them happy. But in this effort, we generally forget that we have no right to assume what is right for the person in front! What if the person is never going to be happy with what we believe is right for him.  As we believe that everyone has a right to choose his own career as he is the one who  is going to live with it for the rest of his life, he should also be given the authority to decide the people he wants to be with. We only have the right to choose for ourselves. 
 Communication is the key! The best way to avoid this situation is to talk about it openly. Running away will eventually hurt both the parties involved in the relationship and then the effort technically would not be of any use as in the end nobody is happy.
